Pupils are able to remain at the school after the age of sixteen. They may attend local Colleges of Further Education and are given appropriate work experience and pursue vocational and academic courses. The key aim is to work with each student to prepare them for independence and a comprehensive social skills programme is created around the student. Each student is provided with his own flat and helped towards independence, employment, or further education elsewhere.
