Leisure Curriculum
Residential accommodation consists of small group settings in well furnished dormitories. Each has its own common room, showers and toilets. Staff in residence live close to the dormitories and are on call at night. Extensive grounds include well maintained playing fields, a floodlit hard court, nine hole golf course, fishing ponds, an adventure playground and wooded areas. The schools also owns one large mini-bus and various MPV vehicles.
Whenever possible, Pupils are encouraged to join local clubs and societies and to use recreational facilities away from the school. The school is ideally placed to take advantage of educational and recreational resources in London and the South Coast. Camps and expeditions are undertaken by all young people.
Strong links are maintained with the local community, nearby schools and youth clubs. Sporting fixtures are arranged throughout the year. The school also has its own GP and is able to arrange access to other specialists.
