Primary Unit
Two teachers and two learning support assistants work with year’s 4, 5,and 6 in a multi-faceted teaching base. They focus on pre-empting and deflecting unwanted behaviour and reinforcing that which is appropriate. Their purpose is to help younger and more difficult pupils develop good learning habits and a sense of acceptance and self worth. As pupils become stronger within themselves they are more able to conform to the rules of the classroom. They are then able to enter the Main School.
