Senior School
The equivalent of 10 full time teachers 13 Learning Support Assistants provide a ‘structured’ environment where rules, procedures and expectations, both academic and behavioural, are clearly defined. Pupils are provided with Individual Education Plans covering both their academic and social performance. On an individual and collective basis they work through the National Curriculum towards appropriate external examinations.
Pupils from the age of 14 take part in a comprehensive Vocational Programme organised by teachers and led by the the Partnership Manager Vocations and Curriculum Innovation. This includes work experience with local firms, college placements, service to the community and independence training. All of our vocational initiatives are tied in with West Sussex Careers Programmes.
